These Leominster, MA homeowners had a kitchen with cabinets that were painted years ago with a color that they really liked. However, the cabinets were just a builder grade that came with the house and the quality was not very good at all. They question was, could they find new, quality cabinets but also keep the color that they loved so much?

Kitchen Associates came in and designed the new kitchen around the existing floor plan keeping the same layout and eliminating extra flooring, plumbing and electrical costs. Brookhaven cabinets with a Winfield raised panel door style in a custom painted finish were ordered. These new, high quality cabinets have the color they love and fit in very nicely with the early American look throughout the rest of the home. A much loved feature is the new soft-close drawers and doors as well as having things much more accessible.

To help make the best use of space, Kitchen Associates coverted the existing closet into a new half pantry, half coat closet. The countertops were also upgraded to a “Tropic Brown” granite. A beautiful black granite sink by Franke was also installed. The brick tile from Rooms with a View gives the 30 year old house a 200 year old feel.
