Remodeled 3 Years Ago and Still Raving About It!
These homeowners in Newton, MA had their kitchen remodeled back in 2017 by Kitchen Associates. Since then, they have been raving about their new kitchen so much that it has resulted in us being able to assist some of their friends with their own kitchen projects. A common statement they hear is, “When did you put the addition on your house?”. The fact is, the kitchen is in the same place it was prior to the remodel. Because of the ingenuity of the layout, the kitchen now feels so much bigger.
We removed a closet as you come in the back door and replaced it with a pantry with the refrigerator beside it. By moving the refrigerator, it allowed room for an island with 3 seats. If you notice the wall where the stove is, you will see that it’s not very long. However, the hallway to the left was a little wider than normal, so we extended the cabinets so that there is now a wraparound counter which allowed for more prep area near the range. On the far side of the room, we installed some beautiful glass door cabinets and a custom wine rack below. This area adds some nice “eye candy” as you enter the space.
Even though this kitchen is 3 years old, the excitement has not gone away!
