A Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel in Holden, MA

These Holden, MA residents bought a secluded farmhouse that needed a lot of work. With the help of their contractor, Mark Wilde of Rutland and Kitchen Associates of Sterling, they did a beautiful job of transforming the house. They now have a comfortable and efficient home for entertaining family and friends.

For the kitchen, the homeowners chose Wood-Mode cabinets with an inset door style that fits the look and style of the original farmhouse. To add to the rustic appeal, they chose a cherry wood island with a distressed finish. The main cabinets have a beautiful custom painted finish that make them look as if they were original to the house. The fireclay farmer sink, white subway tile, and appliances with cabinet fronts add a touch of class to the new space.

Not only is the kitchen beautiful in appearance, but it's also amazingly efficient. The homeowners have already entertained dozens of guests. They love the fact that they can now visit with friends and family while cooking without having anyone in the way. Guests love gathering around the new kitchen island, complete with a cooktop featuring a pop-up downdraft vent.

We are happy that this family will be enjoying their newly renovated kitchen for many years to come!
